Try managing your library with
Adobe Digital Editions to move DRM-protected content among different devices, or
Calibre with the
DeDRM 3rd-party plugin to strip DRM completely. It's how I moved my books from my old Sony Reader to my new Nook Simple Touch.
On the other hand, if you're not considering switching because you really want the Kindle form factor,
Best Buy is selling the Nook Simple Touch for $49.99 right now.
