Yeah, that's what it looks like. My son has a rash so I checked the yard and found a few plants in the back yard. I saw dozens of tiny, tiny, seedlings in the backyard and looked around until i found the vine on the tree...pretty sure that's where it's all coming from.

Luckily I have never really had a problem with poison ivy or oak, but my wife if allergic to everything on Earth. My biggest nemesis is Kudzu. Hates the Kudzu.

I have spent every Mother's Day for as long as I can remember pulling poison ivy out of my mothers yard/garden/pasture.

She's extremely allergic (has gotten in her mouth walking through the woods on a humid day), and I am not at all allergic.

Interesting side note: My brothers, sisters, and I grew up on a goat farm, and drank copious amounts of goat milk. Goats love the poison ivy. None of us are allergic. Coincidence?

It should be noted that you should NOT burn poison ivy/oak.

A dirty bomb enriched with poison ivy oils sounds like an amazing weapon: you suffer now, and you suffer later... And the buildings are still standing!

I despise poison ivy. I'll gladly take scary spiders to get rid of that ****.

I hope your son's rash goes away soon!

Gloves, pull the stuff up by the roots and pull the vine down. let it dry in the sun till dead then bury it.

Thanks, it did. After 4 days of Claritin, Benedryl, Caladryl lotion and Aveeno oatmeal baths, ha!

That makes the most sense to me, however, finding a time when my 1.5 year old is not around for a few hours so I can get it done is the only thing standing in my way at the moment.
