Is he trying to enhance his speech with all those hand movements or directing traffic?

Hmm... He does sound a bit hammered. Is his speech always that slurred?

Spelling not withstanding, it would be pretty funny if a guy named "Baucus" were delivering a Senate speech drunk.

As to the substance of his speech (such as it is), I love how all he does is ask who "has the courage" to just roll over and give the Democrats whatever they want. Apparently "having courage" means "doing whatever I want you to". Cute.

I agree. We need a lot of people, on both sides of the isle to get primaried in the upcoming. With lame Duck George retiring in ohio we'll have primaries on both sides.
