I am not paying all the money it cost to have digital cable at home just to watch Doctor Who.

I am so looking forward to this! Does anyone know the date of the premiere on BBC America?

They don't have a release date for it yet.

The Telegraph is suggesting that Tennant might be coming back (yes please)

Not going to happen. He's making a guest appearance in the 50th anniversary special, but he's not returning as the Doctor full-time.

I've read several articles tipping Chiwetel Ejiofor (the Operative from Serenity) as the next Doctor. That sounds plausible, and I think he'd be interesting. My personal pick would be Eddie Izzard.

I have to say, I've never understood the appeal of this particular show.

I'd rather not know who it is. Meaning, I would like it if it was an actor I had never seen before.

Ditto, but if they did put Izzard in as the doc, I might have to watch it.

Do we need human sacrifices to make sure that this happens?

We'll drag out Baethia and Quothorn and make the sacrifice happen.

The word I'm getting from my friends across the pond is that the BBC wants John Hurt for the next incarnation of the Doctor.

Well, I finished series seven today, well all that Netflix has. Last episode was The Name of the Doctor.

Spoiler:
Didn't care for the end of the Ponds. That being said, Clara was wonderful. Looking forward to the next bit, whenever it lands on the Netflix.

Aye.

"The Day of the Doctor" and "The Time of the Doctor" are needed to finish out Matt Smith's run.

And this. Watch this now.

The Night of the Doctor made me wish Paul McGann was the 'War Doctor' in the anniversary special. Doctors 8, 10 and 11.

McGann is brilliant (one of my favorites). Shame that his one big role didn't get good ratings (and had the giant misfire that was the Eric Roberts Master).

Sat down for a bit today and got it all finished...

Seeing Tennant again was nice. I will miss Matt Smith.
