The Glade 4.0

Wasn't even aware that a new Apes movie was in the works - then I got this as my 'your video after this commercial' clip on YouTube the other day. Thought it was going to be your run-of-the-mill cheesy ad for a completely unrelated product, right up until the moment I realized this was something else.

Yeah, I saw this commercial on TV, was not expecting it to go where it did. All of the promos I've seen for this film have been great. Looking forward to it.

Wow, we've had ads up on bus shelters here in LA for two months, I think. If they hadn't started putting dates on them, I'd have thought it was out already.

But, yeah, looking forward to it.

My wife really, really wanted to see this above all other movies this year (we still haven't seen the new x-men movie). She is a huge "... of the Apes" movies fan.

We enjoyed it. While it doesn't completely leave you on a cliffhanger, it does leave the next movie open to a much larger escalation. I am hoping they make enough to produce a third. The terrible (or so I see on Rotten Tomatoes) Transformers movie is cutting into the ape's profit.
