Loving the game, so far. Got my Hunter to level 6, and helped my daughter play her Titan to level 3.

Still loving the atmosphere. The end of the third mission had me thinking, "man, Doom 3 wished it had gotten the flashlight horror shooter tension this good" right as the respawn restricted area kicked in...
The atmosphere is amazing, and the visuals are spectacular. And yes, that mission is particularly tense. Very well done, IMHO.
My biggest gripes so far:
1.) The lack of information about my Fire Team. I joined a friend, and aside from his name & map icon changing to green, I had no way to tell that we were in a team together. No healthbars, no player icons, nothing. I like the minimalist interface, and after a few minutes, I got used to it, but it was disorienting at first. Not a huge deal, but definitely something I had to get accustomed to.
2.) It was WAY to easy, as a level 2 or 3, to stumble into an area with much higher level enemies. When heading to SkyWatch, I did some exploring, and didn't get very far off the mission 'path' when I ran into some level 7 or 8 enemies. And a level 8 Champion/Elite. I managed to get away, but it was a close call. Also, in another underground mission area, I ran across a level 15 Elite that one-shot me. It was literally 25-30 feet away from a chest and a corridor that was part of my main story mission, level 3. That's way too close for comfort.
Neither of these is a game breaker, though. It's definitely a lot of fun, and well designed so far. And pretty. Oh. So. Pretty.
By the way, I'm
ReconNine on PSN.
