I had a friend get it... who didn't KNOW there was such a thing... and when she got it, she thought it was a hat until she right clicked.

I had a fun night tonight.

I should preface this by saying I don't raid much in WoW, mostly due to the caliber of most PuG raiders, and the fact that I'm not in a raiding guild.

I got invited to tag along on a friends ICC 10 guild run tonight. We ended up doing ICC 10, ToC10 and VoA 10 with only 1 wipe on Marrowgar and 2 on Saurfang.

It was a blast!

I ended up getting an invite to join the guild, so now I may have a chance to play with some quality players more often.

Oh, and I also got some nice new boots off of the Airship Battle.

Nice Nephyr, it opens up a lot to find some other good players you get along with.

Yeah. I was a bit worried about my raid performance- it's been years since I raided in EQ1, and I haven't really raided at all in WoW. But I was one of the top DPS, and was able to stay on top of the fights fine.

Yup. A thoroughly useless mount. But neat.

Yay! We killed Saurfang. Our DK got the axe. Finally got our strat down. We actually focused the left Blood beast with all ranged, and the right beast was taken down by melee and a stunlock.

Finally was able to make a full ICC25 run. Did it all with minimal wipes, I think 4 or 5 total. Man, the Gunship battle seems pretty freaking easy, and I didn't even know wtf was going on.

Managed to get a bit lucky and win the roll on the Caster DPS neck from Marrowgar, which I was pretty excited about because that was my 2nd last remaining slot < ilvl232 (except trinkets). Been trying forever to get that damn trinket from H Pit, can never find a good group though.

Got leather boots from Marrowgar last night. Couple of good runs at DBS. Need to work on our kiting/handling of the blood beasts.

If you have a ret paladin (or a rogue, or a prot warrior, etc) burning down one of the adds with melee works well. Basically you rotate stuns, burn the **** out of it, and never let it touch someone. It takes some of the pressure off your ranged DPS.

Yeh. We were working on 25's last night. We only have one ret pally, no prot wars, and both our rogues are Mut.

We did have 5 huntars though. I'da traded one of them for a shammy. We're *very* ranged heavy.

...that needs to be the next raid-interface change...the ability to trade with people on other servers. You could trade us one of your hunters for one of our excess enhance shamans!

Top DPS in my guild is our other Ret Pally. He was pushing 11k last night on Lady D adds zomg, I was doing like 7.

I was pushing 10k on the trash to Marrowgar, that stuff is ideal for us hehe.

So anyone here ever level Jewelcrafting? Any tips? I'm gonna start on it tonight and drop Mining. (How does that work btw? Go to a jewelcraft trainer and it will prompt you asking what you want to drop or... ?)

I've gathered a large portion of the mats from this sites list:

Lol. And you can have one or two of our mages :P

I got put on DW and DBS full time. Consequently, my DPS was top of the charts at a little over 7.5ish.

Yeah, the trash at the start is great. I can routinely pull 6k on them with my 5 man gear.

Deathwhisper adds kill my DPS, though- immune to holy damage cuts me down quite a bit.

I hated trash before the made Seal of Command useful. Now I pull 7-9k on trash. It's fun. Omen hates me.

I just feel like they need to re-work SoR a little to give us a good non-AE trash seal, and I'll be happy. Even for Marrowgar, I can rarely keep up stacks on him with SoV, and my burst on the spikes is horribly low.

Then I could use the new Libram of the Three Truths with SoR for fights where I have to switch every 10-15 seconds, but I'm not AoEing.

I have been using this new fangled Random group finder for my DK, and today with the upgrades I have been able to get... I am now able to finally break 2k DPS. And I am close to the expertise softcap (or so I have been told). And my Hit rating is starting to improve.

What does resilience do for you?

It reduces your chance of being critted in PvP.

If you're not PvPing, then resilience is of no use.

It reduces mobs' chance to crit on you.

It reduces players' chance to crit on you, and the damage of criticals. It also reduces player damage in PvP.

*sigh*

If I did not have to work nights.. my DPS would have only been somewhere between Isley and Symphae.

Hehe. That's bad considering Isley is our tank,and Sym's a healer :p

You could prolly pull 3k raidbuffed. maybe 3.5

Basically, you select Mining in the skills tab and a prohibitory sign (like no smoking without the cigarette) should be there.

Click, follow alerts, you now have an open tradeskill.

My wife levelled JC (we have a 440+ in everything, really 450+ except for LW/tailoring...) but she did so with full access to two 450 miners, so she could run and get anything she needed using either an 80 protadin or an 80 demolock, so I can't share any tips.

Also, as an aside, my twink 34 shaman made it to Mekgineer in Gnomeregan all by herself. I even got 3500 of his ~7k health to go but I couldn't kite them well.
