I don't know if this is a work of staggering genius or stunning madness. Maybe both.

(Could also go in the ear worm thread.)

That's pretty cool, RD :)
How'd you come across that?

That's **** amazing. I wonder how durable it is, though? If it's reliant on nano-textures or -structures, I'm trying to imagine how that isn't delicate without using preposterously hard materials.

I kept waiting for a 20-cycle pileup.
Very impressed that that many cyclists can ride that fast, that close together, for that long without accidents.

Actually Shel, I believe their was a crash in that race.. perhaps behind the main pack.

If you notice the Giant/Shimano guy (John Degenkolb I believe) has a bandage on his forearm from a crash under similar circumstances in the previous race.

Here's another video of a sprint finish - Same team, same guy with the camera on his handlebars (Degenkolb). This is from Stage 1 of 2014 Tour of California. At the end, you can just see Mark Cavendish passing him on the right side for the sprint win. It's not as exciting as the first video, but it's still an excellent perspective on what's going on at the end of a very long bike race (4 hours 45 min).

Fantastic. I'll get to see the last stage of that tour this year. I may catch it in the middle, though, about a mile from our house. Don't know if I'll make it up to the finish.
