Anyone spent any quality time with the LG G3?

I'm interested in usability mostly.

Asking for a phablet inclined friend who's interested in upgrading from the note2.

I'm also moderately curious about the LG G Watch R, on the off chance anyone here may have used one.

Isn't the Note4 locked down tighter than an iPhone? Can't unlock the bootloader so there goes all of that sweet, sweet Android customization.

My coworker has a G3 but he doesn't really use it any differently than he would any other phone. Says he uses the back buttons to scroll through websites and unlock his phone, and that it took a while to get used to the placement. Overall he is very positive about it.

There is an offer available to get the G3 on a trade-up that is a substantial savings...

Well... ok, fine. ;)

And I don't know how locked the Note 4 is. I don't need to unlock it like I did my S3. The iteration of Touchwiz on it isn't any where near as obtrusive as previous ones.
