Can we voluntarily subtitle Into Darkness from now on?

I liked Into Darkness. Not as much as the first one, but I didn't think it was as bad as some people make it out to be.

Skee has always had a raging hatred for it, but I think it's one of my favorites.

I absolutely loved Star Trek (2009), but yeah, hated hated hated Into Darkness. Such a waste.

I'm tired of Tattooine. If there's a bright spot to the galaxy, it's the planet that's farthest from.

That's good, because this one isn't set on tattooine. It's set on a TOTALLY different sand planet called Jakku. Yeah.

Dude, we don't even know what stormtroopers look like. Other than the Clone predecessors, we've never seen them.

I remember sitting in my little hometown threatre and the roof nearly coming off when the Lucas arts logo graced its screen after nearly a twenty year absence. and we all no what happened after that... We've just been burned so badly and we are finding it hard to love again. It is awesome, and part of our us really does want to open our hearts again. we just need to know its real first.

Star Wars: The Boner Awakens?

Okay, so I've kind of been pretty bland in my reaction to the Star Wars spin-off Rogue One, mostly, I'm not to proud to admit, due to my resistance to the notion of naming anything other than Rogue Squadron "Rogue" anything, and my disappointment that it wouldn't, in fact, be a spin-off starring Wedge, Luke, and fan favorite characters from either the comic run (Tycho, Wes, Hobbie, et al) or Stackpole's EU contributions. And I'll stand by my position, there.

However... the newly announced spin-off may sweeten my attitude towards the notion of spin-off films in general.

Lawrence Kasdan is co-writing (with his son) a Han Solo spin-off to be directed by the pair behind The Lego Movie, delving into how Han got into the smuggling business. I figure I can be on board for that.

Ok, I would totally watch that movie. It's not like Star Wars is still sacred after the prequels, right? Star Lord and Han Solo, swashbuckling it across the galaxy.

Guardians of the Galaxy was just an extended audition for Chris Pratt to play a yet-to-be-quite-as-jaded Han Solo, right?

I think you're right, though, Taly. It's probably smarter to find somebody a bit younger than Pratt, if you can find the right person.
