you seem to be dismissing the possibility that it's been thought out perfectly.

Yup, it's incredible. I know he's retired from the character, but good god do I want him to come back to voice Joker for "The Killing Joke".

Ooh, I just did a search, and it appears new information has come to light!

Alright, so now if he doesn't get the gig, we know someone somewhere effed up BIG TIME.

That above graphic might've been better if the bottom left frame was "Mark Hamill: The Joker" and the large frame on the right was "Jared Leto: The Joke".

I know, I know. I haven't seen his performance yet; it could be great.

I have a feeling that he will, like all the actors in that picture, do a decent to awesome job of portraying The Joker they were asked to portray. Each of those continuities have asked for different things from their Joker and those actors did pretty good to ( in Ledger and Hamil's case) downright awesome jobs of delivering.

While I'm not a fan of the look, no one can say Leto doesn't commit to roles. Really respect him after Dallas Buyers Club. If the script isn't ****, hopefully it can be redeemed.

Sadly, embedding *.gifv files appears not to work very well, so here's the YouTube video:

And a link to the Imgur gallery.

skip forward to 2:44 for the actual shooting. Which is quite impressive.
