If you have not done so, go to Spectacle Island and set up your base there.

Spoiler:
activating the generator will cause a Mirelurk Queen to spawn. Stay in the tugboat with the generator and toss out a smoke grenade--she'll die quickly by artillery fire from The Castle. Finish restoring power to the shack will cause the rest of the mirelurks to flee the island.

The island, once cleared, has easily the largest buildable area (by a factor of 10 I'd guess) a huge build budget, and, thanks to the various shacks and crashed ships, massive starting resources. Bring Ceramic & Copper though.

EDIT:
one other pro-tip I am grateful for: Foundations and building. A) they don't clip through the floor so you can set their height, and if you group select an entire structure from the foundation, it will ignore clipping for the full building except that foundation. You can easily make a treehouse building through the tree, by building the entire structure off the foundation then group selecting the structure and moving it into the tree, since only the foundations clipping is checked. Then remove the foundation.

I am using the foundations as walls for Croup Manor.

And now that I have finished the story... I am upset about 1 thing: War... War was not the same without Ron Perlman.

SO I went all in with the Brotherhood of Steel. It was interesting...

I'm pretty sure I am the bad guy of the story.

And I went all in with the Institute.

Felt real bad
Spoiler:
Pulling the trigger of my Gauss Rifle on Desdemona and the railroad. Shooting merry hell out of Maxson though. Delightful.

Yeah, I went in with the Institute too. I was very much not expecting to.

Spoiler:
But, I was playing the role of a man who only mere days/weeks ago (to him) saw his wife murdered and his son taken away. He has extremely little stock in any of the factions. His son is everything and the only thing he has left. With the reveal of who shaun is (and go to **** hell you mother **** **** whoever put that spoiler in the title of a top review on metacritic), and how his goals weren't terrible, I had to side with the man's son.

I kept expecting there to be a double cross at some point. Some reason for me to side with one of the other factions. Some "I am going to replace your memories with my own, so I can live longer and you're compatible DNA for me" or "Remember that note about the FEV and how there was another planned phase? Yeah. You're that phase" or "Yeah, I'm not really Shaun. Thanks for doing our dirty work. Time to die" reveal. But it never came. I didn't even have to kill any Minutemen.

I originally thought I was going to side with the BOS but one of the side missions was "We need food. Go steal some and take it by any means necessary. Kill the farmers if you have to." That didn't sit well with me. Kudos to bethesda for a lot of morally gray options.

I will say the final fight wasn't very climactic. In that, I didn't even realize I was in the middle of the final climactic battle until I turned in the quest and the credits rolled. I expected I was only about 50% main story complete (but then I was also still expecting a double cross). It made me feel how grammar nazis feel when people don't close their parenthesis.

SO...I seem to have lost one of my companions. I thought I sent her to the Red Rocket. I have checked all over, with little luck. Now, most of the time I wouldn't care but the ***** had a suit of power armor on.

I am playing on the Xbone, if anyone has an idea about what I can do, let me know.

How long ago (in-game) did you send her there? NPCs who are told to go somewhere will walk, and may be delayed by the need for combat along the way. If it hasn't been very long, find a piece of furniture and wait for her.

If that doesn't work, or if it's already been a few in-game days, check the NPCs original home. I've noticed that if I exit the dialog without actually giving the destination command, companions will go to the place where I first picked them up.

Some building tips That have helped me:

1: Use the 2 floor stairs in the Wood>Floors section as spacers to provide snap-to targets for upper floors. Using this you can build large structures out of the stone foundations.
2: holding select to group-select an entire structure will allow you to grab an entire structure. sometimes you can bypass clipping by this technique
3: if you build a series of stacks of floors (line them up very carefully and then just spam build--they should all snap up), and then build them them apart, you'll be able to snap to any height.
4: Foundations can be placed over top most objects. by this method you can 'embed' things in the stone
5: by dropping high-detail objects (weapons particularly) in a build zone and then scrapping them from the environment (instead of inventory) you will reclaim build quota. this will let you bypass the built in quota without console commands.

It was Piper, I told her to go RR when I first met Strong. And that was like a week ago. Game time that is. I've checked Diamond City, nothing. She isn't in her house. I am rather irritated.

Side note, I maxed out Nick today and hit 50. I am thinking of starting over.

Sorry to hear it, that sucks :(
I'm assuming you've tried placing & ringing a settler bell?

More tips and notes:
-There seems a significant increase in difficulty once you hit level 75, particularly of raids on your settlements.
-Missile turrets seem to be quite a liability if they're in a position to fire into your build space. Put walls between them and the inside of the base. I've been taken out more by my own defenses than by raiders.
-Sometimes incidental quest targets dont spawn. (Kill the super mutants at Trinity Plaza... only nothing ever spawns)
-I SUSPECT but have not been able to prove that the defense rating of a settlement affects the rate you'll be assigned quest from there. I seem to get repeated quests for the worst defended sites.
-Check in on your settlements directly. Dont rely on the pip-boy to accurately tell you settlement population or needs. Though 30 is supposedly the upper limit of settlements, one site I had not checked on had 38 individuals in it (and 8 beds!)
-At least once I got a settlement request to rescue a raider scavver. Doing so meant he immediately turned on me. I killed him and failed the quest.
-There isn't much variation in the incidental quests. For Minutemen its limited to Kill Ghouls/Supermutants/Raiders, Rescue Hostage.
-There seems even less when it came to Brotherhood. At least the Railroad seems a little more varied.

So, I started over as a chick. Just to see how things changed from the point of view of the woman. Watching, helpless as the inciting incident took place wasn't as bad. That being said, I felt like I had to go with the Institute this time.

The most exciting thing...was wooing Piper.

latest patch is a major improvement in settlement management. (now you can see where individual settlers are assigned. (even if they did nerf fix the McReddy accuracy perk). Still getting odd populations in my world map. (Settlements that have 20 people showing as 40+)

I still have not actually committed to BOS/Institute (though I'll probably be just going Railroad) but I maxed out all the companion perks. (even the useless ones like Hancock, Cait & Strong)

Given the expanded DLC plan, the price of the season pass will increase from the current $29.99 to $49.99 USD (£24.99 to £39.99 GBP; $49.95 to $79.95 AUD) on March 1, 2016
