I'm so glad they're finally going to make a sequel to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Goddammit. I don't want Old, Decrepit Indiana Jones. I don't want Soul-Dead Harrison Ford. I don't want another cinematic abortion like Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I'm holding out hope that the story is being told in the late 1960s by an elderly Indy, with Chris Pratt playing the young Dr. Jones in flashbacks.

I hope it is like at more like a more integrated Cross of Coronado from Last Crusade. Young, ideally Pratt, Indy starts the quest for the Macguffin through Acts 1 and 2 (80% of the running time), to be resolved in Act 3 by old Ford Indy.

You'd need to start with old Indy for the first ten minutes, in 1970 or something, then cut back to 35 years earlier with Chris Pratt, and finish with old Indy again.

I shouldn't admit this, but it took me years to figure out that "last crusade" had to do with the holy grail and not indiana jones' last adventure.

Well, it was a little bit of both. It was intended to be the last Indiana Jones film, so the title was meant to kinda pull double-duty. But then...

If it follows the previous pattern, this one will actually be good.
