The Glade 4.0

Who's up for Shadowrun 5E? I find myself wanting to run a RL game and while I've played a few games I want to get my feet wet PBP before I try GM'ing IRL.

Setting would be Seattle 2075.

The build process in Shadowrun is notoriously crunchy; easy to make mistakes. I suggest you build your characters with Hero lab or Chummer. (Chummer is easier for me and Free)

I will happily help anyone with character builds.

I'm not inclined to disallow any build types at this moment (except SURGE I & II), unless you can come up with something truly broken, but any negative qualities you take will be enforced. If it doesn't create a problem for you, it isn't really a negative quality. You can use any of the 4 main build methods (Sum to 10, Priority, Life Module, Karma) And use the standard character level (ie, dont use Street or Prime)

Also I hate the whole Headcrash plotline, so lets skip over any references to that.

I'm down. I have a bunch of books at home, but I'm suddenly suspicious that they're all 4E stuff. How compatible is it?

Rules are similar. More limits on total number of successes. I've got most every book with rules/qualities/powers except Rigger 5 (so far) so if you describe what you want I can help. There are conversion guides somewhere if you wanted to build a 4E character and convert it, but I know some stuff doesnt translate.

Pretty much everything is available on Drivethrurpg.com (might want to pick up the core book for 5th edition, use 4th to tell me what you want and I'll find the 5th edition analog)
