We've now reached such a saturation of grimdark nonsense that the return of the '66 Adam West Batman is viewed as a necessary corrective.

Total truth!

Although as the original west batman that's the only one "family approved" by my wife for the littlest of children, I'm looking forward to this animated release.

Also, batgirl kicked some butt in season 3!
