The Glade 4.0

So, I'm not a big racing game guy, but every few years I get the bug. I absolutely loved Project Gotham on the original Xbox, going as far as to win a bunch of platinums, many hours put into that game. Recently MS gave away forza horizon 1 in their "Games with Gold" program, so I loaded it up (It's a backwards compatible 360 game on the xbone), and enjoyed playing it for 10 hours or so. Around that time, FH3 released, and I decided the racing bug had me enough to go ahead and pick up the new version. It was like going from standard to high def. Amazing the level of quality jump (and just refinement in the mechanics/races/event) in general. So far the diversity of events in FH3, going from Offroad rallies to midnight street races and all sorts of crazy stunts. Really good time so far. (Also like the "Play Anywhere" perk, so I can load it up on my PC and play it after the kids go to bed (console/home theater is in the main room of the house).

That game tore it up in reviews. I used to love racing games. Just can't get into them anymore no matter how many I try.

My wife and I have been taking turns playing this game for the last week or so. I am really enjoying the open world exploration part of the game, which is different from the usual load track->race->load track->race pattern. I don't like the bucket list challenges, though; I am very bad at them.
