I like that it gets the message across, to motorists, but I don't think I'd ride with something like this.

And technically, by the letter of the law, the motorist would have to stay 3 feet (US)/1 Meter from the end of the noodle, as it is part of the bike/rider by extension.

This guy in Houston did something similar.

Warning, this video is pretty annoying to watch due to the helmet mounted perspective.

I would think there is a danger with a car clipping the noodle-- either snagging it or just imparting enough force into it to throw the cyclist off balance.
