Really, you could pull 3kish raidbuffed easy. Esp in a 25man. might and kings and whatever auras and srap are up, flask and raid food. YOu could push out 3k.

Man, Festergut hits hard. :p

Was a bit late by the time we got into the Plaguewerks proper so I don't have much to report. The trash is... different, that's for sure. Stinky is harder (from a skill point of view) than the majority of WoW bosses...

I'm left wondering if we have to kill both dogs again tomorrow since we didn't kill either abom. My assumption is yes, and that one dog is tied to one abom. Which makes me less happy! :p It's definitely a step up from the endless AE zergfest that is trash in the hallway to Marrowgar, though.

We downed Rotface and Festergut on 10 man last night. Great fights imo. I had a lot of fun doing both. I like that Fester is a fast burn down fight and Rot was a bunch of craziness with a lot of running around lol.

I thought Precious was harder than Stinky, although maybe I'm confusing them! It was late for us too so I was very tired during most of the plagueworks part. The traps were an eye opener too for a first time seeing them.

We tried Prof P twice but uh... holy crap. I mean I cant imagine that's... right. Some people were saying he's bugged somehow, I dont know. All I know is it was pretty crazy and no idea how crazy it would be with 25!

P.S. Lady D was nerfed on 25 man and sure seemed nerfed on 10 last night too.

Lady D was a joke last night. They hit her too hard with the nerfbat. She went from "If we execute perfectly, we can just get her" to "LOL! Kick her *** and take her stuff!"

Also, our raid leader is mean. We got a deep freeze on the guns with like 4k left on the gunship, he said in Vent "All you DPS go over and zerg her down!" So, like the good DPS I am, I jumped across with our one boomkin... and the ship blew up He then laughed at us in vent

Anyone think it would be worthwhile to make Spellslinger's Slippers? I'm above the hit cap so I want to drop these damn H ToC boots, and thats about the only readily-available option. Might get expensive though with all the Weave mats.

Broke 2800 gear rating on WoW-heroes for the first time last night.

It's now incorrectly telling me that the only places I'll get upgrades are ICC10/25.

Yeah I'm guessing ToC is now officially gone from the raid calendar for us and I could use 3 or 4 big upgrades from there. That said, I can get bigger upgrades for those slots in ICC, uhh... eventually! Once the 3rd wing is opened.

I hit 80, got the PvP breastplate you buy with Honor Points, and hit whatever that dungeon is where you fly from place to place on drakes and fight a blue dragon on them at the end is. Got a new belt and a helmet there.

That's the Oculus. Probably the least popular instance currently available, considering they had to give out extra loot to convince people to actually do it instead of dropping group.

There was a lot of griping and we had to replace 2 people, who of course, had to drop after the one and only wipe.

What is it with people in WoW that go apeshit when you come right out and say "I've never been here, what do we do?", then follow the instructions of the more experienced people, and the group still wipes? If I've never been there before and 2 of you have 2 different ways of doing it, no I don't know which of you is right.

It's the same thing in PvP. I've seen so many idiots bellyaching in Alterac Valley "u n00bs don't recap!!" Ok, if they're n00bs, maybe explain to them BEFORE the tower is taken to recap it? Or come do it yourself?

Basically it seems like there's a large portion of the playerbase that feels entitled to only have people that meet their personal approval in BGs and random groups with them. The only thing I can say is that there also seems to be large portion fo the player base, especially in BGs, that shouts them down right back with comments that amount to "stop complaining and fight, *******"

Holy DPS check!

Cleaned up our act tonight in the Plagueworks. On our 8th attempt on Festergut we had 0 people die, executing darn near perfectly up until the very very short enrage timer of 5 minutes. Alas, he was only at 20%!

Granted we had 24 people in the raid, one of which was disconnected most of the fight, and like 3 random guildies to fill the empty slots for apps that didn't show and normal raiders that couldn't make it, but jeez. This is a normal difficulty fight? :p Waaaay harder than the previous 4 bosses. If you have the dps to kill Festergut, Saurfang would be a joke even without letting people die. Granted, Festergut et al should be harder than the first four, but this is considerably worse than Northrend Beasts 25 heroic. 40 million damage in 5 minutes! :p And it's a pretty mean enrage, too. You don't get a bonus 30 seconds as he kills people one at a time. You fall over within a second or so of him enraging. All of you. Yikes.

I'm pretty sure my guild could kill him if we had our actual raid roster logged in all on the same night. It's not a hard fight to execute, really. There are some minor subtleties to the spores but it's all easy stuff. Just... crazy dps requirement.

I pin him as nerfed in 2 weeks. Maybe 1. Razorscale took a nerfing within 1 week if I remember correctly. Deconstructor took 2 I believe.

Rotface I dunno about as we only gave him 4 tries, basically enough to get the basics of the fight down so if we have a good raid group next week we already put in a half hour of learning to save us that time next week when we may be killing them. I think I like this fight though.

40M in 5 mins is only 5333.3 err that's repeating of course DPS.

Tough, but not impossible. Rotface, like XT is creepy as ****. WTF is with blizz and making us beat up kids.

40,000,000 / 300 (seconds) / 20 (people, assuming 1 healer / group)

2,000,000 (damage each person needs to do) / 300 (seconds)

6666 DPS - sustained. More likely 7200 or 7500 with the tanks being 10% of the raid and not meeting that number.

And that ignores the movement for inoculation or any deaths.

I haven't tried, but that is a challenge.

As far as tricks, though... have mages not get inoculated and then ice block on the big nuke?

So 2:58 in, all mages ice block - and thus the ranged moving in for inoculation would be less of a DPS dip.

Of course, if a mage is the carrier of cure, that isn't possible, but c'est la vie.

It also ignores the Vile Gas conflag stun thing, which hits 3 ranged at once (more if not spread out perfectly).

http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/2hz3 ... 365&e=6670 This was our WoL report for try our last try. Melee once again kicks ***, as for them it's mostly tank and spank like Saurfang. Ranged lose a pretty hefty portion of their damage.

Tanks get this ridiculous +damage buff, but they are somewhat limited by threat when the other tank taunts the boss back from them. We didn't make use of Salvation though so that might be some considerable more damage we're missing.

If I'm not mistaken, our poor warlock spent 35 seconds of that attempt stunned. Unlucky bugger!

edit: and yeah, there are other tricks. We were playing it by the book all night: aim for 3 stacks of innoculation for everyone. I can tell you that Barkskin + 2 stacks is more than enough. Feint + 1 or 2 stacks is fine. Dispersion wouldn't even need any stacks. Etc etc. I'll have to come up with a list for my guild. :p

How often does he do the thing?

Like with Stinky (h9 that dog thing), for me it was feint + cookie after the first decimate, feint + pot after the second, and by the third there were enough dead people that the healers could keep up.

In the 5 mins, is that sort of strat fefasible for a rogue do you think?

It's a hair over every 2 minutes. Since you only get two, that would be fine. Melee tends to have few problems getting 3 stacks though. In fact we actually had issues keeping alive people in melee range when 2 spores would go off in the same location, so we had to ensure if 2 showed up in melee range, one of them were dragged out to explode safely away.

It's still quite possible to only get 2 stacks in melee, but if you do there's no worry at all. 2 stacks with Feint won't even require you to potion/healthstone/etc. You'd probably be around 70% health with no threat of any burst damage on you that puts the ranged folk at risk.

You should still plan for one to go off in melee each round of spores and all, but positioning can be tricky at first for individuals to get it on both the tank and the melee since the explosion radius isn't that big. So if you end up with 2, no sweat. In fact the achievement for him is to never let anyone in the raid get 3 stacks ever, so clearly it isn't an end of the world situation to begin with. :p

My guild failed Saurfang last night at 3, 5 and 12% last night because our DPS are boneheads. Soooo frustrating

And, thanks to a bunch of whiny *****, Rogues get smacked again with the nerfbat.

HFB down to a 5% increase, and all poison coeffs dropped by 10%
