Well... if I take my tinfoil hat off, I'd say it weas in response to the GCHQ stuff this morning ;)

But... I know these strikes take a minute to plan, so I'm gonna come down on the side of "Tactical middle finger to ISIS".

Iran will LOL and NK will drool on himself and order another nuke test. ;)

I'm trying to figure out how, if the MOAB was used to target a tunnel system, they already know that it only killed ~36 people.

Pre-strike recon and then the observed after effects are used to generate an estimate.

Also on a decidedly non-professional note I love that it's bright orange.

Any time you're talking double-digit or single-digit numbers it's going to be a fairly specific number, although there's still most likely a +/- associated with it.
