Off to London for a vacation/my birthday! We were gonna go next year for our 10th anniversary, but Virgin was having a ticket sale that couldn't be passed up, so my birthday it is.

Itinerary:
Stonehenge/Bath/Windsor Castle
Oxford
The Harry Potter studio tour
The Doctor Who Experience and touring the actual TARDIS shooting set (day trip to Wales for this)

No Globe Theater? Westminster Abbey? Tower of London?

Looks like a fun trip planned.
Bath & Windsor are both great (sadly, we couldn't squeeze Stonehenge into our trips).
Oxford was cool. I'm assuming you'll pop into The Eagle and Child for a pint?

That is indeed the plan. Phe's biggest goal is to go there.

Also, we want to do a bunch of other stuff on our "free" days, like the Eye and the Tower of London. But we're playing those by ear; the above are just the ones for which we have pre-planned tickets.

Yesterday: Landed, napped for an hour, and hit Carnaby Street, Hyde Park and had afternoon tea at Harrod's (Earl Grey. Hot.).

Today: Arrived in Cardiff Bay by train and had a lovely chicken and wild mushroom meat pie with gravy and mash. In half an hour: DOCTOR WHO.

Yesterday: The Harry Potter Studio Tour (and one helluva expensive Uber ride).

Today: The Tower of London, Big Ben, the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, The Walrus & The Carpenter pub, Fleet Street, the Tower Bridge, and assorted monuments along that path, capped off with an early screening of Alien: Covenant at the British Film Institute's IMAX, the largest cinema screen in Europe.

Tomorrow: Oxford!

Oxford down! Christ Church Cathedral, the Museum of the History of Science, Blackwell's, Oxford Castle and Prison, the Oxford Covered Market, afternoon tea at Cafe Loco and dinner at the Eagle and Child.

Tomorrow: Windsor, Stonehenge, Lacock and Bath!
