It doesn't look terrible.

The thing is, you can't build a castle on a foundation of solid shite.

So far, Man of Steel, Batman vs. Superman Dawn of Justice have both been pretty much garbage. I have little hope for Suicide Squad, either. How can you turn that into a decent Justice League movie?

I liked Man of Steel, but thought Batman vs Superman was terrible in so many ways. This gives me hope. I hope Cyborg doesn't look to CGI, and I'm not a huge fan of the Flash costume, but otherwise I think this looks promising.

Looks pretty damn good, though there is that one slow motion shot, you can tell it isn't her face. Other than that, I am excited.

Bump.

Bets on Superman being evil in this one? He was in the very first promo poster but is strangely absent from all this.

No to evil Superman. He will be in it, I just wonder which Green Lantern we are going to get.

Are they doing GL? I thought it was limited to Batman, Sups and the metas that Bats dug up in the computer files during BvsS; WW, Aqua, Flash & the cyborg guy.

I'm just tired of the palette in these movies. They have a bazillion shades of dark. It's getting old, and it's hard to see the action.

I'm expecting the worst. If I'm wrong I can be pleasantly surprised. If I'm right, well, I've got the satisfaction of having expected it to be shite from the start.

I'm not usually a pessimist about movies I want to be good, but the last time Warner Brothers gave me any reason for optimism was in 2008.

I'm not sure how much he can do at this point. It's probably nearly complete at this point.

Yeah, Joss won't have enough input to improve it any...

Because, let's face it, who'd make a more entertaining film? Joss or Zack?

Probably Joss... but Aquaman would get killed unexpectedly with his own spear when you thought all was well.

Because Joss.

That might be how they explain not being able to produce a Flash movie... Because Joss.

I have been...critical of Zack Snyder's DCEU films, but I'd take a million of them for him and his family to not have gone through that. Heartbreaking.

I'm still hoping that Wonder Woman rights the ship, and that Justice League is awesome.

As it stands, Man of Steel isn't a complete waste to me, but there are decisions in there that are ruinous (the attitude and fate of Pa Kent, the decision to kill Zod in the dumbest way possible, etc.). Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice has sparks of excellence but the bulk of the movie is so grim and dumb that even those high points (Affleck, surprisingly; the trinity's chemistry and the final battle; pretty much everything to do with Wonder Woman) gets weighed down by the leaden dreck.

Up until he got involved with the DCEU, I actually liked all of Snyder's films (well, except for his animated owl film, which I never saw). He's an amazing visualist but doesn't seem to actually believe in heroes, which feels like a prerequisite for being the mastermind of bringing the DC stable of characters to life.

First off, GOOMH.

Secondly, I dunno. I feel like a guy who doesn't actually believe in heroes could write and direct a good Batman movie. It unequivocally should disqualify one from having anything to do with Superman, though, yes.

I'm still trying to figure out how they'll tie in The Lego Batman. (Best Batman Movie Ever.)

It looks like they're relying HEAVILY on Wonder Woman's success to get this thing working, and I have to say.... solid plan.
