A couple of things struck me watching Episode III. It seemed like every scene reminded me of something from SWTOR. Nick Nolte's Ugnaught, the Jawas and their crawler, the Nikto, the city streets strongly resembled Mos Ila on Tatooine, the Mandalorian hideout.. it all felt very familiar, like it was right out of a SWTOR quest.

It almost feels like Favreau found some inspiration playing some of the early planet quests on the Empire side in SWTOR. :)

I also really like the development of the Bounty Hunter and Mandalorian lore.

I didn't realize that there were Vizla's in the cast, and that one of the Heavy Infantry Mando's was Paz Vizla and voiced by Jon Favreau himself. He also recruited members of the 501st Legion to voice some of the others.

Pretty cool stuff. It's been a long time since I"ve been this excited about Star Warsy stuff :p

Welp,

I just watched episode 8 (last of this season), and, i won't spoil the details, but there was some pretty epic stuff, especially at the end.

I know there are some issues with the show, and the direction, but this show has re-invigorated my interest in the Star Wars universe.

The inclusion of so much stuff from the EU is really fascinating. As someone who never read any of the books, I find myself digging around online for nuggets of details to fill in the back story for me.

I guess in that regard, assuming I'm not the only one, this show is going to serve Disney and Star Wars well (assuming their intention is to expand the EU fan base).

I just read that there is going to be another spin-off based on Obi Wan Kenobi.

Looking forward to that along with Season 2. Can't come soon enough...

Better than the sequels.

It's the show I waited 20 years to see. The Force and Jedi are cool and all, but they are really overused. Star Wars has an excellent and established universe beyond those things.

Though it looks like Season 2 will start to dip its toes into it. But hopefully its done in moderation.
