Intriguing stuff. Insomuch as anything here continues to be intriguing.

At least earnest work here gives me more optimism for the state of Squadron 42's eventual release, even if it's not particularly close, this finally suggests somebody's actually playing the missions.

I do like the approach they are taking. But it does sound like we are many months away from flight models that are in release or near release form.

Gosh, why did it take 7 and a half years to create this vehicle experience team? At least it sounds like they have their heads screwed on right, willing to commit time to experimental features that don't make it live to test different approaches and find out what feels right, instead of trying to divine the correct values for things based on sticking John Pratchett's finger in the wind on Spectrum and guessing.

Also, when this comes out, I'm down to give an evening or two of group play a run. The advent of player-to-player transactions and improved turret play sounds like it might finally be interesting for more than the novelty.

PTU access for concierge and subscribers is up. It'll be fighting for my attention with the new Dresden book, but I may poke my head in and check out the atmospheric flight and such.
