Reeses is a food group all it's own. It has all the vitamins and essential nutrients that you would need to survive in the wilderness for weeks..geez probably even years..if you had an unlimited supply.

I wonder if you could win that in a contest..never ending Reeses..My luck is looking up lately, I might have a chance to win that one!

I'd make it a trail mix with Reese's, raisins, and peanuts, but yes.

The real question is:

Do you pronounce it Ree-sis (which I am pretty sure if the correct way) . . . or Ree-see?

"Reese's pieces"

It's a dude named Reese. Like Kyle Reese.

Apostrophe s shows ownership of the pieces.

You're eating his pieces. The pronunciation should be self-explanatory and any idiots deviating from that, are, well...idiots!

How does it feel to have Reese's pieces in your mouth?

Nev is correct in how it's pronounced.

Having a father who works for a trucking company in Central PA that has contracts for almost all of Hershey's local plants has had it's benefits over the years.

2 cases, each with 30, 1lb bags of Reese's Pieces made for a whole lot of candy for my parents to hand out on Halloween a couple of years back.

Off topic.... best Hershey product is the Whatchamacallit candy bars. And I always preferred when Chocolate world gave out giant cookies at the end of the ride instead of just one piece of candy.

Thank you -- I cringe every time I hear someone pronounce it "Reesee" (which around here is all too frequently).

I think you are mistaken, I believe it is Reeses' Pieces.

Wow, as many bags as I have purchased over the years you would think I'd have noticed that! :o

I miss the old Rainier Brewery in Seattle. 10 minutes from work, 20 minute tour, 3 free beers at the end. Perfect fit to a 40 minute lunch break (although I interpret 40 minutes to be an hour and an hour to be anything less than an hour and a half). And it would earn a work achievement from the other thread.

We don't really have those here and you have to go to speciality chocolate stores to get them if you really really wanted them. I do not understand the facination with them... >.<

The fans feel the deep seated need to phone home using a child's toy and some odd bits and Reese's Pieces.

I like them, though I'll go for M&M's when I feel the need for little candies. If I'm going to endanger my sugar level chocolate had better be involved.

While I agree that they are pretty damned tasty, I must respectfully admit that I am disinclined to agree with the "best" vote. Reese's Fastbreak, and Reesesticks are each just a little bit more awesome (and I'm particularly fond of the Reesesticks, as I was in a product-testing focus group for them before they were introduced).
