I learned a new cooking technique.

I was not aware of this method of preparing vegetables prior to tossing them into a stir-fry.

No wonder my stir-frys always end up as a steamed vegetable mixture instead of having nice crisp-tender veggies.

I really need to take a few cooking classes. I so love to be in the kitchen, but I know so little about how to really cook well.
