Re: the (pretty sure it's, think it's... hell I dunno, maybe it's?) "Wasaya" tail letters on Elessar's plane: I'm used to seeing Japanese, and Hangul, and Arabic, and Cyrillic, and a whole ton of other alphabets that I can pick out pretty readily... Inuit/Inuktitut still looks like something a producer made up when the movie needed an alien script.
