I think the author of that article went a tad overboard on the empowerment angle.

I did not like how she condoned using sex as a weapon (although I think she did not mean it in a bad way, but it certainly came off as such).

Not sure what she means by doing things men can't, either. He might get funny looks, but he could do them.

okay... I am really looking forward to Dante's Inferno. I have been following the website for a bit, and I really want to go through hell on a killing spree.

I beat Bayonetta in one evening. It was meh. I unlocked the next difficulty and started over. I may or may not play it again.

Man, I just beat this game, and I don't know how you can say it was meh. Amazing art design, very tight combat, and oozing with style. By the end my jaw dropped at the action I was witnessing. Definitely some stuff you could nitpick, but as an over the top action game it was excellent.

I just felt like it had some sort of Final Fantasy X2 vibe going on. And the final boss battle... holy crap, without giving away any specifics... just die already FFS.

Some Dante's Inferno reviews:

Digital Chumps

Official Xbox Mag

Planet Xbox 360

Seems like the game may actually have legs to it.

IGN UK gave it a "Decent" rating, but IGN UK is generally pretty tough on games.

It's at 77 on metacritic right now for the 360, that's better than I expected.

Also (and I did not know this) it looks like it was done by the team that did Dead Space. This just went from a "maybe I'll check it out" to a must rent for me.

Sounds like if you enjoy God of War, you'll like it.

LOL @ the Eurogamer review. What a terribly-written review.

I never sit through video reviews, but that was frakin' hilarious.

Sit through more of his. Even for games you know nothing about. They're always awesome. And, despite him being brutally tough on games, he always identifies the flaws, even if you find them more forgivable or small enough to overlook.
