Anyone want to run a World of Darkness campaign? I was thinking either Masquerade. I don't have the Requiem core books or anything.

I would consider playing, but not running.

Maybe. Depends what the campaign would be like. My daughter likes vampires too; I might get her involved too if that's ok. She's almost 17.

Would rather go Re-requiem, as I am not too familiar with the changes (and don't want to purchase new books) Hell go classing, main book and PHB only! No paths of enlightenment, where Lupines where the "Oh **** leave the ghouls and beat feet"

Sorry I had to post this here, I didn't want to clutter anyone's gaming board. I played 3rd quite a bit, Masquerade, Hunter: The Reckoning, Mage: The Ascension and I looked around in the Requiem.

I don't have any ideas for campaigns, but if someone would want to GM one, I'd play ... groups or 4-8 seem optimal, but to be honest, I've never done this through a msg board, so I'm unsure of how that effects the numbers.

I have been giving though to do it as a table top, but maybe I can run it here. I need to flesh out the plot, but rought is that Philadelphia is Camrilla controlled since the Mid 80's. However Camden, trenton, willmington, etc is still Sabbat. The character creation was going to be basic book/players hand book only. Meta gaming/ooc knowledge is going to be severly restricted (it would take occult 5 to even know that were wolves have tribes). Foccused more on role playing, but combat always happens. I was thinking of tweaking the vampire/polulation ratio or just count the incorporated suburbs as an inflated Philadephia Gothic population to allow for more NPC's. Maybe 50k/1 ratio of kine to Kindred.

Anyone interested?

And that is one more reason to play old school. That in Gothic Philadelphia, the Old Byberry Asylum will still be open in all its horrific glory.
