Just found out my daughter's Orchestra teacher was charged today with either sleeping or molesting one of hist students.

Indeed. Don't jump to conclusions. Some kid may have made up the accusation because they were pissed at him. He's going to have a hard time beating it even if that is the case. Teenagers are known to do that stuff.
