My Bears managed to beat the Vikings tonight! I know the Bears suck this year, but it's nice to see them beat a rival and possibly spoil their plans to get a first round bye.

On a side note, I won my first ever Fantasy Football championship tonight! Woot! Fun times this season to everyone involved. I found it amazing that I was 7th in points going into the playoffs, following that with a pathetic 57-52 just good enough performance in the following playoff game, yet still somehow lucked out to win it. I feel like I was almost too dang lucky for my own good this year with fantasy football. My team really wasn't that good. I simply matched up with everyone when they had their bad week. :D In my other league I was in, I had a far superior team, but I lost in the semi's. It's not all about how good you are on paper, that's for sure.

That was a great game. I can't believe he missed that 30ish yard field goal to win the game though. I hope it doesn't come down to Rackers in the future, for Arizona's sake.

Yeah, so awesome ... unless you're a Packers fan. In retrospect, given the way my Monday is going, that seems to have been a harbinger of the **** I was in for this week. Just joyous.

NO, MN, Dallas, and AZ. Man, would be hard for me to be less excited about any of these teams.

Bal, Indy, NYJ, and SD. Hmph, not much better on this side.

I think the best I can come up with is NO-NYJ. Hideous combination of uniform colors, though.

At this point, with the teams/players left in it, I'll be happy for any team winning the superbowl that isn't Dallas.

New Orleans, Dallas, Minnesota, Arizona, in that order. Oddly enough, I used to be such a Vikings geek when I was a kid. Purple People Eaters!

AFC? Sheesh, I guess it's NYJ, then I guess San Diego, Indianapolis, and Baltimore. I really dislike Ray Lewis, but that's offset a little bit by Joe Flacco. Meanwhile, the Colts are just a bland non-entity to me. Even funnier than my Viking-love, though, is that for the two months that I played when I was a kid, I was a Colt ...

I hope it's Arizona vs New York Jets.

I think it'll be Arizona versus Baltimore.

I could be wrong though, as I typically am.

Why do you dislike Ray Lewis?

By the way, here's why I don't want the Vikings to win:

If they do, it's only going to turn into a Farve love fest. It wouldn't have anything to do with the rest of the team being pretty damn good, or a guy named AP. It'd be all about how Farve led the team to a championship. While it is true that he's had an amazing season, it's still a team game and I'd prefer to see the Vikes get it without Farve. If they did this with T-Jack, I guarantee you wouldn't be seeing T-Jack love. Let's not forget that the Vikings only won two more games that last year, a year they also made it to the playoffs. I'll be interested to see how they fair against a team that's currently on a roll, coming off two dominating performances. Meanwhile, the Vikings have been struggling as of late, with the exception of the blowout against the Giants. They lost three of their last five games. Two of those were by more than 10 points.

I can't wait for next week to see how things pan out.

You know, if the Vikings do win, Favre might finally realize he has nothing left to prove and retire once & for all.

Jets over my Chargers? Don't kid yourself - they're getting creamed.

Haha, that's right, you're from down there, aren't you?! I'm always amazed when I go to Carlsbad or something and see people in Chargers jerseys. Just astounds me that people root for them, for some reason. :)

I'm not saying the Jets will beat them, just that the Jets are the only team in the AFC that I don't have some **** aversion to.

Ray Lewis? I dunno, just strikes me as a thug. I don't find his charitable work, in the wake of his vindication for the post-Super Bowl party killing, terribly convincing. I'm sure he's a nice guy in person and all that. But, yes, I can hold a grudge for a long time.

Heart breaking. Who would have thought Rivers would throw two interceptions in 2 plays.. and Kaeding would miss 3 FG's???

And it was still a close game. God damn lucky Jets.

Omigosh, Lenas, didn't mean to jinx your guys! I didn't see any of it, just asked th guy behind the counter in a Chargers jersey if they had won. He explained the whole thing in painful detail. Ouch.

Sanchez goes all the way as a rookie!

Both the Jets and Chargers looked very bad today. It was an extremely boring game until the fourth quarter. Neither team really looked like they belong. I'm rooting for the Jets, but they're going to need to bring it harder than that next week.

I like some of the players on the Jets but they are going to get cock punched next week.

Suddenly I want to see NO. really, really stomp Minn. next week. Normally I wouldn't care, since my favs are out (KC and Dallas), but that last touchdown by Minn put them and Bret Favre in the "must be stomped" category. What a classless act that was, imo. It just confirmed every negative impression I've gotten about Favre.

Venting just a bit.

Maybe if he was playing then Dallas wouldn't suck.

But they'd still be oversaturated in every market in the US. And I would still be forced to hate them. I'm tired of seeing Jerry Jones' ego every weekend. Prime time on Sunday, MNF, etc. America's Team? Don't make me laugh. Last I checked, there were 32 teams in the US. Arrogant bastards. They're mediocre at best, and like I say, my two favorite teams: The Seahawks, and whoever's playing the Cowboys.

Seahawks should re-name the team the Tweetybirds. Dallas is the team people love to hate, but it's mainly jealousy over their past success. :P

It's ok. I don't blame ya. But it is your fault for backing perennial losers.

GO NO!!!!!!!
