Yeah, the granny crawling up the wall looks kind of freaky. I want to see it.

It looks really interesting but I'm somewhat confused by the mythos. The concepts might be too hard for me to overcome unless the experience is just epically badass. Under any other circumstances it will be an absolute laugh riot alongside movies like Constantine.

If you say this meaning Constantine was good... I'm right there with you.

If you say this meaning Constantine was bad... I'm with you right up until that point. :D

Ever since the first time I saw the trailer I've been going - this is very familiar, didn't I read this book about 30 years ago.

It is supposed to be an original screenplay, but I think it is a reworking of something from around the time of Mad Max.

Either way I'm interested, and wondering if I should hit the midnight showing or wait until tomorrow.

It was one of those awesomely bad movies. Neo fighting demons is golden in my book.

Judging by an opinion I read earlier, this movie pretty much insults the Catholic church big-time, as well as Christians in general. Gonna pass on it.

People will take insult when they choose, I saw no vendetta against the Catholic Church or Christianity in general. The only named angels are Michael and Gabriel. One of the things to remember is that some demons are fallen angels, and they possess no new powers, just twisted from the ones already given to angels.

Decent flick, not great. Go see it if it really appeals to you, otherwise wait for it to hit the Red Box or NetFlix.

Saw this last night.

Don't waste your time. It's good up until the end, and then it just goes full retard.

Spoiler:
Dialogue between Michael and Gabriel in angel-speak without subs? Seemed pretty important. Plus, Michael even said something to that human dude and still no subtitles. Very frustrating. I'm not a god damn mind reader.

Magical tattoos showing up on the human, and no explanation about them? He was told to "learn to read them" and then we get NOTHING else about them even through the end of the movie. He's driving with his damn sleeves ripped off, we see them, give us some clue that he's figuring them out. Is it a sign that he will eventually become an angel as well, a warrior of god? Give us something here.

The child ultimately had nothing at all to do with the story. The whole time you think it's gonna be the second coming of Christ, and then you realize someone just had to kick God in the ***, bring him to his senses.

Ugh so frustrating.

DS, umm, you have a problem when you have to buy crappy movies, and you know they're crappy, so you "just" get the dvd.

I am so going to invest in one of those for my chirrens.

As for the DVDs.. collecting them is my hobby. I have watched all of the DVDs in my collection at one time or another (except New Moon, I have avoided that one); that one is all SWMBO and Stampy.

Some people gamble, some drink or do drugs... I collect movies. I have an impressive collection so far. And a **** ton on my "want to buy" list. Legion is on my list of "I could get it; or not, no big deal either way."

And yes, it is a sickness....

You've made mention of it before, but it just struck me how orderly you've made your vice.
Lord knows I've tossed away more than my share on the vices you've listed (and a few you didn't); I was just pitching you a bit if ****.
