It was personally satisfying to watch Favre throw that interception near the end of regulation. Maybe he'll sit down and take his seat in the HoF, finally.

I hope he comes back.

He's still one of the most entertaining players to watch in the NFL.

Sure, if he's not on your team. Entertaining like a NASCAR race. Either really exciting and your team wins, or a major pileup in the last five minutes, and you lose.

With the Eagles looking to get rid of McNabb, I'd rather have him on my team then Colb.

The eagles would be making a mistake to get rid of McNabb. That guys gets less respect for what he has done than any other QB I can think of. And being a Cowboys fan, I can stand the Iggles.

I agree. McNabb's the best thing the Eagles has had going for it in the last decade. Apparently all of the teams problems are his fault.

Favre is nothing short of a warrior. You can't pin that loss on him, any--any of the 3-4 fumbles that Nawlins recovered would have turned the game around, too. Favre and Peterson were both the best and worst players on the field that day. At 40, Favre still has it, and he plays through everything, no matter how much it hurts. He's the ultimate sportsman, and ultimate warrior, that the NFL has ever seen. Better still, he's a pure class act, and the NFL will diminish when he finally retires.

Well, you could make an argument that had he not been such a warrior and stayed in the game when he was obviously limping on the ankle, another QB may have been able to recover one of those fumbles. I saw a replay of one, and he was barely making any headway toward the ball in the mad scramble.

And, laying in bed last night, thinking, I decided that you can place the blame on him, at least in terms of the interception. He's the only one who touches the ball, who decides when to throw it. If this was the first time he'd done a bonehead throw like that, I'd say, OK, sure, cut him some slack. But, he has a bit of a history with this.

But, point taken - If the rest of the team hadn't coughed up quite so many balls, Favre wouldn't have been in the position to make his signature bad decision at the end of the game.

Colts by 10. No way they make the mistakes the Vikes did. And Manning is more of a golden boy than Favre is. They pull those kinds of hits on Manning in the SB, there will be flags all over the place.

Anyway, if the Vikes dont give the ball to the Saints a hundred times that game, the beat NO easily. Will be a good SB but I think it will be Manning 300+ yards 3 tds at least and the Saints will be just happy to be there.
