The first and fourth ones have some potential.

Did you get to "pick" the numbers?

Usually block pools are random number assignment after the block has been bought out.

I say quarter one is your best shot.

None of them are impossible, though the third one is probably the most unlikely.

Ten bucks a square gives a nice payoff though.

17-10 is probably your best option here.

2q

21-13

Third quarter:

49 - 35.

With Manning and Brees... this could totally happen.

4q.
I could see 33 - 17. or 33 - 27.

my bad! You are right, I didn't pick, they put your name on squares and then drew the numbers out of a hat. I paid $5 per square.

Those pools are 10 x 10, making for 100 squares and giving the last digit of every possibility of score from 0-0 to 9-9.

Five bucks a square makes for a pot of $500

Three quarters at $125 makes $375

Fourth Quarter score only counts if the game goes into overtime. Usually this is spelled out in the rules. Sometimes, to make the math easier, in case of OT, 4Q doesn't win a dime.

Final score at $500.
Total payout minimum of $875

If you only paid $5 a square, and that is the pot distribution, the guy or gal running it is going to be down a minimum of $375 unless he or she picked some lucky squares themself.

Five dollar boards usually go $100 each of the 4 quarters, and $100 for the final score. No overtime, 4Q gets $200.

This is not gospel, other payout lines are possible.

hmmm..I think that was what he said when he handed me my sheet. I was busy at work, so didn't listen too closely. I shall ask him when I go back to work.

thanks Michael!
