So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish, a hundred and fifty-three of them; and although there were so many, the net was not torn. (John 21:11)

ADRB2 adrenergic, beta-2-, receptor, surface [ Homo sapiens ]
GeneID: 154

Official Symbol ADRB2

Official Full Name adrenergic, beta-2-, receptor, surface

Primary source HGNC:286
Organism Homo sapiens
Lineage Eukaryota; Metazoa; Chordata; Craniata; Vertebrata; Euteleostomi; Mammalia; Eutheria; Euarchontoglires; Primates; Haplorrhini; Catarrhini; Hominidae; Homo
Also known as BAR; B2AR; ADRBR; ADRB2R; BETA2AR; ADRB2

Summary This gene encodes beta-2-adrenergic receptor which is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. This receptor is directly associated with one of its ultimate effectors, the class C L-type calcium channel Ca(V)1.2. This receptor-channel complex also contains a G protein, an adenylyl cyclase, cAMP-dependent kinase, and the counterbalancing phosphatase, PP2A. The assembly of the signaling complex provides a mechanism that ensures specific and rapid signaling by this G protein-coupled receptor. This gene is intronless. Different polymorphic forms, point mutations, and/or downregulation of this gene are associated with nocturnal asthma, obesity and type 2 diabetes.

Googling 162 was fun. Who knew I'd come up with a bus route in Toronto!

The year Marcus Aurelius named his two sons as joint Ceasars. (notable since highly fictionalized versions of Marcus Aurelius and his son Commodus are main characters in Gladiator)

In an effort to get posts : current number in line again:

A week contains 168 hours

169 is 13 squared, which gives us the right triangles:

5, 12, 13 AND 13, 84, 85.
