I think this class period may be the make or break for dropping the course. I took a course on interpersonal communication this semester under the idea that, as an actor, it would help me more realistically portray the non verbal things we do when we talk to one another.

So far, the class has been an exercise in caring and sharing Jerry Springer style. No one has actually thrown a chair yet, but for **** sake, people I DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE!!! ARRRRRGH. STAY. ON. TASK.

Third week of class, and we have not even got past the first chapter. The instructor (who is just as fond of telling stories about her life only *remotely* associated with the subject at hand) has handed out several personality assessment tests (yawn), doesn't seem to want to keep things on task.

I don't need the class for my major. Dropping it won't bring be below full time status. Yes, I lose the cash I spent on the book, and the book isn't even bound (It's a feature!...), and the money for the class (gg Pell grant), but I gain a better Tuesday/Thursday schedule. The only issue I see is that it's probably a good way to pad my GPA. It's not a terribly challenging class.

Sigh. JERRY JERRY JERRY JERRY.

I wonder if starting that chant when things trail off inevitable into the realm of my classmates' personal drama will endear me to them? Probably not.

If there's no possibility for another teacher, just stick it out, homes. The nicer schedule comes when you're done with school. :)

Sit back, crack a bag of popcorn and take the A. I don't know where you are at academically but there are plenty of classes you have to take and will hate waiting out there. Enjoy the ride on this one ;)

I meant "done with school" as in "completed your degree or have taken all the classes you want."

Enjoy the class, take the A, and try to start up inflammatory debates to make class more interesting.
