I regret that I never had the honor of meeting her, she was wonderous and special. With any luck she's jamming with the Ramones right now.

Thank you all. So many people made this community home to her for so long.

I apologize (a little; she loved vagary, brevity, and obliqueness in her posts, so I made a bit of a conscious effort to honor that in my original) if I caused more concern than I'd intended -- I'm unharmed and me; my inclusion in the pictures was incidental, not an indication that I, too, was tragically killed with her.

I'll probably return to this thread a few times over the coming days, or weeks, or months, and add to it things that I miss, or want to share. She was a remarkable woman, and so much more than she showed to most, here.

Pop on a tune by Jeffry Hyman or Douglas Colvin; queue up some Star Trek: The Original Series episodes, The Prisoner, Life on Mars, or The Young Ones on Netflix; or drop by the library and check out some Ellison and Effinger with me in memory.
