Mm. I have a blackberry for work and an iphone for me. I honestly cant say I want a physical keyboard. But I understand thats just my view - the tradeoff of a bigger, clunkier phone for what (for me) results in no additional key-entry accuracy, isn't a good one.

The Droid is not much bigger than the iPhone. It's slightly thicker, but narrower. It's about the same length, and a wee bit heavier, but I like it.
