I spent some time thinking this afternoon and evening, about my attitude and what's going on in my life, and I realize I've had some circumstances that can create tension, nearly to the point of anxiety:

1) Recent heart surgery
2) My aunt passed away
3) Tension here on the Glade over various topics
4) Amdee
5) My friend jailed in Haiti

And those are just some of the high points.

It's time for a vacation (not just from the Glade) and try to get myself on a more even keel. Gonna be praying and resting, away from things that make me tense. Play my guitar, try to write, learn some new stuff.

I wish you all well while I regain my focus. May peace follow you wherever your road leads you.

Thanks for the well wishes. I come here to check on Amdee and read this thread, but that's it.

I will tell you all, however, that I have been in contact with people who were more closely associated with the efforts of my friend in Haiti, and I am more convinced than ever that Christian groups should get out of Haiti now and leave the work to secular organizations. I will say no more on the subject until those Americans are off Haiti soil.

*edit* I present to you the tip of the iceberg:
