It's either take the promotion or quit at this point, taking the job is the lesser evil given my situation. This actually may work out in my favor as it seems I'll be in actuality responsible for less and paid a bit more.

Moving back to the cold is my goal. Could be early as next year about now, or as late as a couple of years from about now. Either way it is the goal!
