Yes, multiplayer does encompass both online and off. And yes, I am talking both console AND PC.

Me: Now, after quitting MMOs -- exclusive single player.

I fit in oddly. If it weren't for MMOs, I would be 98% single player. Even then, I like to spend time soloing a lot in MMOs. Leveling is always done solo questing, even with the easy dungeon finder available now to make putting groups together painless. I love soloing old content. Even when I wasn't truly solo, me and the 2 buddies I did most of my leveling with would quest together, then run instances we were a bit overleveled for to make up for the missing 2 people. I skip quests I can't solo, or get help from one of two buddies, rather than find someone else around similar level also on the quest. Grouping for convenience on some daily quests that I can solo but would be faster with more... I'd stick solo.

But I play MMOs more than anything.

So I dunno. :p

With the exception of WoW, everything I play is single player.

I'm mostly a multiplayer person.

I play games to have fun with my friends. I lean towards games with a lot of multiplayer or at least two player co-op. It is rare that I'll put a ton of time into a single player only game. Those games I do, are generally very, very good games if they manage to keep my attention. Fallout 3, Dragon Age & Bioshock come to mind.

But ultimately I'd take playing a game and having a blast with a friend or two over playing a single player title, every time.

I play Left 4 Dead 2 almost every night with my friends. But I also play single player games just about every day as well. So both fairly evenly.

I play LotRO and STO (at least for a while) for multi and a slew of games single player, but I split the total time fairly evenly single player and multiplayer.

I'm suffering from a recurring, but temporary TV addiction. Hit's me every other year. Seems to be in the summer one time, then the winter the next. Usually lasts a few weeks.

Other than MMOs, exclusively single player, so i said "occasional delve into Multi" even though I play WoW regularly.

My favorite games are single player (RPGs), or have single player campaigns which I love, and multiplayer components I never touch. For instance, barring some friends specifically arranging to play, I'd never play multiplayer RTSes (although I'll play skirmishes against the CPU). Diablo is a single player game for me. etc. etc. etc.

Multi with some single. I make the occasionaly foray into NWN2 these days or one of the Elder Scrolls games, but I just get bored with no one to hang out with. I am looking forward to D3 and SC2 but both will be multiplayer capable, and I'm sure I'll do some of that as well as the single campaigns.

I play single player, and multiplayer when one of the multiplayer heavy games is released that has my whole friends list playing. Surprisingly even.

If it wasn't for Team Fortress 2 (PC), there would just about zero multiplayer for me. Ever since picking up TF2, my online play has rivalled (nearly surpassed) my single player gaming.

In other words, quoting Mus:

Ayup, here too (though my WoW playing ebbs and flows).
