Oh crap, that was George Micheal that did the original? I thought it was like Richard Marx or something.

But yeah, that's a good version. Seether is one of the few modern bands of that genre I like.

I like that song in the OP. Didn't know it was a cover and didn't know it was Seether (I don't know their stuff).

I still think that Marilyn Manson's cover of Tainted Love is one of the best 80's covers out there.

I think it's great that cover bands can be successful.

Yeah, Ara, Seether changed that song from one about danceing to one where the rest of the lyrics stood out - that, and it's much better musically.

I'm curious, how would you define "cover band"? In my opinion, Seether is not a cover band.

I thought Seether was some hot chicks back in the 90's?

That was Veruca Salt.

Seether took their name from that one song. They used to be called Saron Gas.

A) Anyone who names themselves for a song by a chick band and then,
B) Covers a friggin' George Michael song.

C) Louise Post got fat and angsty after being dumped by Dave Grohl. Not related to cover bands, just thought I would put that out there.

Oh heck no, those are just the criteria they fulfill. Those also may be the criteria they fulfill to be classified as figolas, too.

Yes, Disturbed did do a remake of Land of Confusion. I haven't seen the video. I'll have to check it out.
