Unfortunately a lot of people just make crap up to be "funny", but there are some good legitimate ones. Grunge music is a goldmine for these, especially Bush. Nobody knows what the hell Rossdale is saying in the "bad moon, white again" part of Glycerine. My favorite interpretation is "baboon watergun". Pearl Jam has a lot of good ones, too. ("Can't find the butter, man", "fellow made of concrete")

I don't like the toe thong part, it is really uncomfortable. By far the most comfortable foot product I've ever worn are these:

They are cheap and look decent, esp in white. The only problem is the strap likes to come undone. Solved by gorilla gluing it together, permanently, as the strappable function is redundant: you can slide in your feet easily.

The design is actually retarded. If you strap it tight enough where it's too tight to slide in, it's more likely to undo itself. Where as if you leave it strapped loosely enough to comfortably slide in, it doesn't pop.

Several summer nights walking from bar to bar has confirmed this.

I am likely in the minority here, but I am of the opinion that, other than at the beach or a pool or some similar setting, men should never wear sandals, flip-flops, or anything requiring a barefoot.

There is not a single sandal, thong, flip-flop, etc... in my footwear collection. I will never wear said footwear.
