Ya know, its up to Mook and Dash how they want to set it up. Trying to armchair quarterback the way they structure the Glade is actually kind of insulting. If they ask for help or opinions that is one thing, otherwise, you're just being a busybody.

Such a non-issue, sigh.

I don't think the insults are necessary.

Apparently, there are at least some of us annoyed with the clutter. We feel like voicing our opinions, so kindly stop telling me to shut up, in so many words.

I'm not annoyed or trying to strong arm anyone. I'm just bringing it up as a point. I know Dash and Moo aren't stupid.

I guess it tickles some people's loins to be hyper sensetive about everything act indignantly offended at every perceived slight.

At the risk of sounding like a complete brown noser (I'm so not):
Hey I'm just happy to be here, in the company of good and trustworthy people, and on a board where someone else (Read: not me) was kind enough to host us, put up with our crap, and take care of all the details....and there are a lot of details.
So, thanks Dash and Mook.

I don't get this. So there's a couple of extra forums. Its not particularly bloated.

I agree with Mus...not seeing a problem with two new forums, especially since 1) Dash wanted and created the Health and Fitness forum and 2) Food was asked for by members that enjoy talking about food.

No one is forcing anyone to read any forum they don't want to read.

Not really. We had general, raiding, equipment, real life, and maybe one or two others.

So it is okay for you to be annoyed with the clutter (which I don't see as clutter) and say something about it, but it isn't okay for me to be annoyed with your passive aggressive comments and say something about it?

Double standard there guy?

Oh ok I thought I saw a lot in that archive thingy that someone found but maybe they were just threads.

Meh, give 'em a chance; if they become wastelands where nobody posts, then let 'em go. But if they continue to generate posts...cool.

I don't see that we're anywhere near cluttered; the game forums are neatly divided and we have a fairly low overall total compared to many boards.

If we were going to get into highly specialized forums, usergroups might be something to consider so you could sign up for those that interest you. I know of one I'd like to run, but it would be too specific for anything but a subforum or usergroup... and quite frankly, not everyone would need to be able to participate, or it would become another hellfire.

My choice is no.

My issue with the post is, if you want to make a point, why not say it? Why try start a thread to inspire "cirtical thinking" or whatever the said intent was? Do we want to just pick random issues to argue about? Do we want to drag hellfire out of hellfire, or was that ~not~ also the hidden intent? That was the only thing that seemed fairly innocuous to me about the post.

If you have something worth saying, build a case and say it. If you are concerned with, or have suggestion on how to restructure make the point. If you just want topics to take jabs at folks and just wantto argue, keep them in the proper place.

We did, but they were all game related since that was the slant at the time. Real Life was all encapsulated under one forum.

No, it isn't okay for you to insult me for asking a question. It's inappropriate behavior, and I thought strongly about reporting you for it. I decided against it because I knew it wouldn't go anywhere.

I merely asked a question, effectively "could we consolidate things." You responded like a dick, rather than being polite, like these other responses:

Those are all reasonable, well-intentioned responses Micheal. Yours was not, it was denigrating.
