The Glade 4.0

Here's my new debit card. Quite possibly the coolest one I've ever owned.




Some people have pictures of their family or pets. Me? I didn't want that (not that I dislike my family or pets). I just wanted my card to stand out a bit more.

I went through a few rejections to get to that one. The first one was an obvious copyright violation (an orc wallpaper I've liked for years). The second one was a really cool jolly rager flag but even then I could understand it could be a violation of copyright (though I was seriously trying to track down the artist of it to get his permission). So I finally settled on the very basic, standard, jolly roger. But, even that, was rejected due to "copyright violation."

I called BS on that one. I tracked down a live body from that department and argued my case. I highly doubt there is an estate of Calico Jack Rackham somewhere, and if there is, they could sue the living bejeezus out of tens of millions of people. So she caved.

Funny you should mention that Numbuk, I just got my new NinjaCard today.

Ninjas and Pirates use cards? Can't they both just steal them from others? Isn't this an area of expertise?
