So, there is this song called Circles by Jon Randall and I heard it on one of those live cafe things a few years back and it stuck with me....thing is, I can't seem to find it anywhere. I can't find it on any of his CDs either...is this one of those songs that he performed but never published or recorded?
Its driving me crazy...I really want to hear that song because all I can remember is the melody for the chorus but not the melody for the verses, which makes it very difficult to sing, haha!

Anyone with amazing music search-fu that can take pity on me? :D

Lyrics:
Spoiler:
This old boy lived down the road from me
Used to drive a beat up Dodge
He showed up drunk as hell one night
Parked in my garage
I had to ask him
How'd you get so lost
Man how do you get so low
He said I've been running around in circles for so long
I didn't know where else to go
See his wife she left him and took the kids
And he never was the same
I guess they were all that he'd been living for
And he shouldered all the blame
He always wondered what made her give up
And why was he the last to know
She'd been running around in circles for so long
She didn't know where else to go
Guess we all lose our way sometimes
Get stuck out on that road
When there's no where left to turn we just stop
The ones we love pay the toll
This old boy lived down the road from me
Today we laid him in the ground
Drove that old dodge right off the river bridge
Without even slowing down
Read the letter he left for his old man
Said God I loved her so
He said I've been running around in circles for so long
I didn't know where else to go

http://www.jonrandallfans.com/disc.html tells me that Circles is a song Randall wrote for a fellow named Eric Bibb.

This leads me to Eric Bibb's iTunes page which allows you to preview the song, as well as purchase it if you so desire: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/natura ... id65627172

I can find covers of it on YouTube, but not anything by Eric Bibb himself. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_q ... %20circles

You can also find the chords, supposedly, at http://www.cowboylyrics.com/tabs/randal ... -2645.html but most lyrics websites are pretty terrible websites and places I generally like to avoid if possible. I am not musically inclined enough to tell how accurate they are. :p

I aim to please!

edit: and because it would be a cosmic injustice for a thread about a song named Circles, here is another song named Circles, by Strong Bad of Homestar Runner fame!
