The Glade 4.0

So according to Dell Mobility I can upgrade my current phone to a Droid for 50 bucks. Anyone used this service? I'm hesitant to go through something like Amazon but it's Dell not some random internet retail site.

I'd go to the local Verizon store but the guy who was going to set up the deal for me (for 200 bucks mind you) was supposed to call me back Monday night. Didn't call til this morning (I was at work) and didn't leave a message. Went to see him twice and he was not in the store so he loses out.

I'd sure like to save $150.

Just make sure you read any fine print. I'm sure it's completely legit, but Dell has to make a profit somehow.

Now I call Verizon and they say I can't upgrade after the store sales guy says I can. Even told em I wanted to cancel as I've got a busted phone. They said it'll be $95 to cancel. So much for retentions.
