The Missouri plate is fake.

I was pretty sure it was - it's been over 30 or so years since there was a black MO plate, and the "Show-Me State" motto on plates started in 1980.

Yeh, the NV plate is fake too. That plate had dark blue lettering, not red.

I don't think any of them are really legit plates. The two that I should recognize (ohio and texas) are not anywhere near current designs.

However I still think it's pretty neat.

Actually, that was the color scheme for vanity plates until the regular plate scheme was changed in 98, at which point the vanity plate color scheme changed with it. It may be fake, but the color scheme is not conclusive evidence of such.

I'm fairly certain I've seen a Texas license plate like the one on there, haven't been able to track it down online, but then again work's crazy, so it's not like I can go troll the wastelands to find it.

The SC plate is accurate for a personalized plate from 1987, which is the date on the plate in the picture. Whether it is real or not I don't know, but if it is all fake, someone at least did their research, since the normal passenger plate from that year used a palmetto tree instead of the state outline, and the normal passenger plates that did have the state outline (up until '85) had the date at the bottom.
