Anyone here use one?
Image

Don't want to spend a TON of money on a keyboard for playing WoW......I don't particularly like the g15 with it's limit of macro keys, and the g19 is more than I want to spend. I like the fact that this one puts what looks like a "game pad" on the left side while maintaining a type board for chat. I guess when configured, I would lose my number pad (which is okay since I don't use it while gaming).

Any thoughts?
thanks

Have you looked into the Razer Lycosa?

You can make any key a macro, and it's supposed to be quite comfortable.

The Microsoft Sidewinder also lets you swap the number pad to the left side.

Personally, I'm trying to decide between those three at the moment.

The Lycosa is coming out ahead, because it looks like a very solid, comfortable keyboard for stuff other than gaming....

I have had driver issues with the Ideazon stuff. It just seemed flaky and unstable o me.

I ditched my Lycosa after having driver issues (not the least of which included downloading virii infected drivers from Razer's site (fortunately, AVG Warned me before I executed the installer).

Im not doing much PC gaming right now, so I'm just using a generic keyboard at the moment. If I decided I needed a gaming keyboard, I'd probably go with something from Logitech, just because I've had good history with them. If nothing from Logitech appealed to me I'd probably look at Microsoft next.

So I got ....

yesterday.

So far after one night.....I likey. It's taking some getting use to. Lots of buttons and learning them.....some are slightly small for my slightly larger than normal hands. But I like the gamepad being ON the keyboard, as opposed to using the n52 seperately.

The software was a breeze, and they have most well known games already loaded in the software with basic setup (which can be altered). I simply loaded up WoW default......and good to go! Makes faceroll protret BG'ing a breeze
