Do you have a lovely cinderblock/2x8 bookshelf to go with your futon?

(Kidding!)

I always used 1x10s or 1x12s, the boards tended to sag though. Used the materials for other projects once I could afford more traditional bookshelves.

Cinderblocks are for noobs and jocks. In college, I had PS/2 chassis as the structural pieces..

When I started college the 8080 hadn't been released yet.

Whippersnapper.

I'm a hair under 6'7". Sometimes I think I'd rather fall asleep on the floor than sleep in my tiny bed(which is the bottom bunk from the bunk beds my brother and I used to sleep in when we were kids). I either sleep with my feet hanging off the edge and they fall asleep or I have to bend my knees which makes them rather stiff in the morning. I can't remember the last time I had a good night's rest.

Oh my goodness! 6'7"? Wow..you should put the mattress on the floor, at least. I can't imagine sleeping all cramped like that! I am cranky when I don't sleep good.

Maybe we need a height poll... hmm...

Raltar, you need one of those circle beds that are 2.5m in diameter... of course you also need a big room to go with it.

California King or Western King beds are 12" wider than a Queen and 4" longer. This is the longest bed commonly available in stores and is the best choice for tall people. Like the Eastern King, the California King bed set comes with one mattress and two half-width box springs to be more manageable when moving. Very tall single people can sleep from corner to corner and still be comfortable.

* Overall dimensions: 72" wide x 84" long
* Width per person: 36"
* Pros: A California King size mattress is wide enough for two to sleep comfortably and is the longest bed commonly available. Its extra length is good for tall people.
* Cons: This very large mattress may be cumbersome to move and may not fit up stairs, through narrow hallways, or in small bedrooms. Like the Eastern King, the California King bed set comes with one mattress and two half-width box springs to be more manageable when moving. Very tall single people can sleep from corner to corner and still be comfortable.

Ok dudes, this is officially weird. I read this thread a few days ago or whatever and last night I had a dream that I ran into a guy at Wal-Mart who was really tall. I asked him his height and he said he was 6'7" and I was like cool because hey I know this guy who has trouble fitting in his bed, could you tell me what kind of bed you use so I can tell him what to buy?
It was really strange. Get out of my dreams, ya'll.

I thought it was pretty cool. I've only had one maybe two gladers make an appearance in my dreams over the past 2 years, so I guess it kinda made an impression on me that you couldn't fit in your bed....bothered me enough to have a dream where I get to help you, haha! Thought it was kinda funny I dreamed your exact height too.
Good times.

It's tough seeing the world through the average person's eyes, when the only eyes you have are your own.

I could have a 20' x 20' bed and my wife would still manage to hog it all up...
