Alright, from what I've been able to gather about Anne Rice's vampires is that they can really no longer be considered male or female(with the whole boy and girl parts no longer working thing). That's not to say they weren't gay/bisexual when they were alive. After reading the Vampire Lestat, there's even a strong hint of incest with Lestat and his mother before they are both vampires(clearly after they are, but again, once you become a vampire in that particular world, they aren't the same things they were in life).

That being said, they are all more many than the sparkling vampires of Twilight.
